Other People Are Like The Weather is a raw, psychologically literate memoir about fear, identity, endurance and the moment a woman stops trying to manage other people – and starts trusting herself.

 In 2026, Vicki will undertake her next endeavour, to row 3,000 miles from La Gomera to Antigua as a team of two women.

With a third World Record in her sights, this will be the pinnacle (so far) of Vicki’s adventuring dossier. Along with her teammate, Dr Sophie Bostock, she will aim to show that the only limit to our potential is the depth of our bravery and curiosity.
